グレゴール・ミュールベルガーがBORAからMovesterへ移籍

Movistar Teamは、BORA – hansgroheのグレゴール・ミュールベルガーのランシーズンからの移籍を発表。

グレゴール・ミュールベルガーは、2021年シーズンから3年間の契約となる。現在26歳であり、これから選手としての最盛期をMovistarで迎えることになる。

BORA – hansgroheがグレゴール・ミュールベルガーを手放す意味が良くわからない。

今シーズンは、ロックダウン再開後のシビウサイクリングツアーで総合優勝しており、2年連続ツールでも山岳アシストとして活躍している。

今年のツールでは第11ステージのゴール手前37kmでリタイヤ。これは体調不良のためだったようで第10ステージもかなり遅れてフニッシュしていた。

2019ツールでは総合25位。ブエルタやジロも走っておりグランドツアーの経験も問題ない。

逆に考えると、Movistar Teamにとっては短いステージでのリーダーにもなれるし、グランツールでは山岳アシストにもなる。

今年のツールでは

• エンリク・マス　総合5位
• アレハンドロ・バルベルデ　総合12位
• カルロス・ベローナ　総合19位
• マルク・ソレル　総合21位

チームとしては、まずまずの成績を収めている。

これにグレゴール・ミュールベルガーが加われば、山岳アシストはかなり強化される。彼のMovesterでの活躍を期待しておこう。
