温暖化による気候変動は全世界に大きな影響を与えている。

もう数十年もすれば、夏に外で自転車に乗ることさえも出来なくなるかもしれない。

8月16日には、アメリカのデスバレーで54.4℃が記録されている。これだけ気温が上がったら屋外で運動なんて出来ない。

PrimalはSustransと提携して、気候変動による危機を改めて考えるきっかけとなるように気候変動コレクションを発売した。

In association with Sustrans The design on this Wind Vest was created by Professor Ed Hawkins (Reading University). Each stripe reflects a year in temperature across the globe from 1850-2019, with the red areas indicating recent dramatic changes to our climate. We will be donating £5.00 from every Wind Vest sold to Sustrans to encourage people to use bicycles in their daily lives. Primalはアパレルブランドで、Sustransは人々が歩きやすくサイクリングしやすいように活動している英国の慈善団体。

このウィンドベストのデザインは、エド・ホーキンス教授（レディング大学）によって作成された。

各ストライプは1850年から2019年までの地球全体の気温の1年分を反映しており、赤い部分は最近の気候の劇的な変化を示している。

私たちは、人々が日常生活の中で自転車を使うことを奨励するために、ウインドベストの売上1枚につき5ポンドをSustransに寄付する。

Sustransとのパートナーシップによるこのサイクリング用ウインドベストは、コロナウイルスの危機の真っ只中にあっても、私たちの子供や孫たちにはもっと大きな危機が迫っているということを、皆さんに思い出させてくれる私たちのささやかな方法です。

この製品群がクラブの運営、通勤、そしてもちろんコーヒーを飲みながらの会話のきっかけとなることを願っています。

ジャージの価格は£70(約9,500円)。販売は11月から。

世界的に排気ガスの排出は減っているはずだが、それでも気候変動は変わらない。誰もが考えるべき問題となっている。
